About CS2OBSERVER
Last updated: 19 August 2026
CS2OBSERVER is an independent Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) statistics and match-prediction site. We aggregate public professional match results, compute team and player ratings, track live scores, and run a model that estimates each upcoming match's win probability. The goal is simple: give the CS2 community a clear, honest data picture of every match, and always show the reasoning behind a prediction rather than just a number.
What we do
- Live scores & results for professional CS2 matches, updated in near real time.
- Team & player ratings built from historical performance, including map-by-map, side (CT/T), and pistol/eco splits.
- Match predictions with a win probability and the full breakdown behind it, on the predictions page.
- A public, graded track record of our confident picks — wins and misses alike — on the record page.
How the model works
In short: a model trained on our full match history (team strength via Elo, roster ratings, recent form, head-to-head and more) produces a win probability, which is then shrunk toward the betting market based on how much data backs it — so a thin sample never reads as a lock. Predictions are frozen before a match starts and graded against the real result, with nothing hidden. There's a fuller write-up on the how it works page.
