The first map, Inferno, showcased a dominant performance from BC.Game, particularly thanks to Ayush "mzinho" Batbold, who led his team to a commanding victory. 100 Thieves struggled under heavy firepower from their opponents.
However, the tide turned on Nuke, where 100 Thieves rallied back. Although they faced a strong first-half from s1mple, a clutch play from Jack "Gizmy" von Spreckelsen helped secure overtime. In the extra rounds, 100 Thieves demonstrated their strength, winning decisively.
As the match shifted to Anubis, BC.Game initially took control with a 4-1 lead. Yet, 100 Thieves adapted their strategy, leveraging a proactive CT approach to regain dominance. They capitalized on critical moments, including a moment in Round 23 when Gizmy secured a pivotal 1v2 clutch against s1mple and mzinho, which helped them pull ahead and eventually close out the series.
Following this victory, 100 Thieves will face the winner of the Acend-1win matchup, competing for a vital main event invite to the EWC. BC.Game’s aspirations to gain momentum at the EWC were halted despite an impressive individual series from s1mple, who finished with a 1.34 rating.
Head coach Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas acknowledged the challenges facing his team, stating, "I feel like there is quite a lot to work on.
