Brollan Reflects on Joining HEROIC and Role Changes

Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin has shared his insights regarding his recent switch to HEROIC, describing the environment as more relaxed compared to his prior role as an in-game leader with MOUZ. After leading MOUZ for 18 months, Brollan is now returning to his rifling roots, competing in the ongoing Stake Ranked Episode 3 where the team recently advanced to the upper bracket final despite struggling with communications and limited practice time.

In an interview with Teodor "tedd" Borisov from HLTV, Brollan noted the team’s lack of a designated practice space has hindered their ability to adapt strategies on the fly. "We have no practice room, basically, so it’s pretty hard to adapt and try to come up with new things mid-tournament," he stated. He emphasized the need to accept these circumstances while gradually finding their rhythm.

Reflecting on his unexpected move from MOUZ, Brollan articulated the situation: "They had said basically that they were going to go other ways," which set the stage for his transition. He expressed gratitude towards HEROIC, trusting both the organization and his new teammates.

Brollan also highlighted the contrast between his past and current roles. Having stepped down from leadership, he finds playing as a rifler less stressful. He mentioned being open to various roles during his search for a new team but is pleased to return to rifling, enjoying the dynamic aspects of his current position.

As for his new teammate and in-game leader, Chr1zN, Brollan acknowledges the latter's potential but notes that the difference between tier-one and tier-two competition is noticeable. He is committed to providing feedback to bolster Chr1zN's growth as well as the team's overall performance as they aim to reach higher levels in competitive play.

Brollan’s transition to HEROIC marks an exciting chapter in his career, underscored by the team's ongoing adjustment and learning process in the current tournament setting. His focus is set on taking it one game at a time while refining their strategies and building cohesion.
