EWC 2026 grand final moved to Accor Arena

The final day of the Esports World Cup 2026 will be held at the Accor Arena, a venue recognized for hosting the BLAST.tv Major in Paris.

This decision comes after the tournament's original location was shifted from Riyadh due to the ongoing Iran conflict. With tickets to the grand final at the Paris Expo selling out quickly, organizers decided to expand the venue capacity for the final event.

While the majority of the tournament will still unfold at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, it will culminate at the Accor Arena, marking a significant venue for competing teams, particularly as it was the site of Team Vitality's first Major victory in 2023.

The Esports World Cup features a total prize pool of $2,000,000, with 32 teams participating in CS2, including four from an extensive open qualifier held on LAN. The playoffs will include 16 teams, with the grand final scheduled for August 23.

As of now, Natus Vincere leads the rankings, with a potential $7,000,000 prize for first place remaining a significant goal. Team Vitality currently sits in third place, while the Falcons are ranked sixth in the standings.
