HEROIC confirms signing of AWPer MartinezSa

HEROIC has officially recruited Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez, an experienced Spanish AWPer, to strengthen their roster. This move follows an earlier report from HLTV and marks MartinezSa's first venture into an English-speaking lineup.

The 25-year-old player transitions from Gentle Mates, a team that is currently working to exit the Counter-Strike scene and has been seeking buyers for their roster during the off-season. MartinezSa replaces Simon "yxngstxr" Boije, who has stepped down after serving as a temporary sniper for the past six months, taking over the role due to Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay's ongoing visa complications.

Joining HEROIC represents a significant shift for MartinezSa, who has previously played only within Spanish-speaking teams, including Movistar Riders and 9z, in addition to his time at Gentle Mates.

Despite this signing, HEROIC is still looking to fill another spot on their roster. Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç has been benched, with reports suggesting possible trade talks involving FUT's Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea.
