Imperial benches levi after disappointing four-month tenure

Guilherme "levi" Gustavo has been benched by Imperial after a lackluster performance that included failing to qualify for the IEM Cologne Major.

Guilherme "levi" Gustavo has been placed on the bench by Imperial, marking the end of his brief four-month stint with the team. This decision follows a challenging season for the Brazilian roster, highlighted by their inability to secure a spot in the IEM Cologne Major.

levi joined Imperial in February as a replacement for Santino "try" Rigal, who now plays for Passion UA. Despite the initial hope surrounding his arrival, levi struggled to leave a significant mark on the team's performance, finishing the season with an average rating of just 1.00.

Imperial's record over the period included a first and second-place finish in two versions of the ESL Challenger League, but they faced substantial difficulties in regional contests, ultimately leading to their failure to qualify for the major tournament.

The organization is reportedly in discussions to loan Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco, who has participated with Imperial in recent open qualifiers and the CCT 2026 South America Series 3.

The remaining lineup for Imperial now consists of Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes, Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo, Lucas "decenty" Bacelar, and Kaiky "noway" Santos.
