MIBR has officially terminated the contract of their academy captain, Vitor "stormzyn" Ferreira, following a controversial incident that took place during a Thunderpick World Championship South America Series 2 match against METANOIA Wolves. The organization announced this decision after conducting an internal review regarding stormzyn's conduct during the game.

In a statement, MIBR emphasized their commitment to the values and standards expected from all members representing the team, both in and out of the competitive environment. While the organization refrained from detailing the incident, stormzyn's subsequent comments on X provide clarity on the situation.

The player addressed the issue, explaining that his interaction with a doll on the floor of the map Cache was intended as a celebration following his achievement of scoring an ace in that round. He remarked that he would have made a similar gesture regardless of the object present, indicating that his intent was purely celebratory.

In his defense, stormzyn stated, "I'd have done anything that came to mind simply because I was happy and celebrating. I don't have any thoughts related to that disgusting stuff; I hate pedophiles more than anything in this world. I stand against any kind of violence and prejudice without a second thought."

The 22-year-old expressed his disappointment with the negative backlash he received and the false accusations made against him. He apologized to MIBR and expressed surprise at the outcome of his time with the organization, stating, "I never imagined ending the cycle this way."
