MOUZ has secured the championship title at the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2, defeating Spirit 3-1 in the grand final held in Malta. Dorian "xertioN" Berman humorously remarked during the official broadcast, "Nobody beats MOUZ eight times in a row," highlighting the significance of breaking Spirit's previous winning streak against them.
This victory marks MOUZ's first trophy since their triumph at PGL Cluj-Napoca 17 months ago, and it showcases a strong debut for Oldřich "PR" Nový, who has returned to the organization after time with NXT.
Spirit struggled significantly on the first two maps, with Danil "donk" Kryshkovets appearing especially off-form compared to his performance against FaZe in the semi-finals, apart from a notable 1v3 play in the first map. Mirage ended up being particularly problematic for Spirit, as donk recorded a negative K/D for the first time across five maps in a row, resulting in MOUZ establishing a commanding 2-0 lead.
