Nemiga benches 1eer, trialing robo as new IGL

Nemiga has made a significant change to their roster, benching longtime in-game leader Aliaksandr "1eeR" Nahorny and signing former Spirit Academy player Nikita "robo" Dushin to replace him on a trial basis. This marks the second time 1eeR has been removed from the active lineup this year.

Anton "boX" Burko, the team’s coach, commented on the decision, stating, "1eeR once again led the team during a challenging time, performed reliably, and gave it his all, probably even exceeding 100%. However, as in any other sport, there comes a time when it's necessary to try new approaches and fundamentally change the structure of the game."

1eeR had previously been benched and placed on the transfer list in January, following the acquisition of players Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin and Daniel "syph0" Ageyev. After some adjustments, he was reinstated as captain in February. However, the organization later concluded that adapting to a new captain's style was taking longer than anticipated.

During his reinstatement, Nemiga enjoyed a successful run, achieving victories in various online competitions, including ECL Season 51 Europe Cup 2, BC Game Masters Season 1, and CCT Europe Series 1. The team's efforts peaked with a global ranking of 29th in the VRS standings.

Despite these achievements, Nemiga opted to bring in 20-year-old robo, who has nearly two years of experience in the Spirit Academy system and recently played for ex-RUBY. With ex-RUBY, he notably secured second place in CCT Europe Series 4, defeating teams like Gentle Mates and Virtus.pro.

Nemiga's updated roster will see its first action next week at BLAST Bounty Season 2. The current lineup includes Maksim "sowalio" Beketov, Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin, Beksultan "khaN" Ospan, Daniel "syph0" Ageyev, and Nikita "robo" Dushin on trial, with Anton "boX" Burko continuing as coach.
