Ninjas in Pyjamas suspend Young Ninjas academy program

Ninjas in Pyjamas has made the decision to suspend its Young Ninjas academy program for the foreseeable future, resulting in the release of its entire roster and support staff.

The organization issued a statement detailing their reasons for this choice, stating: "As we look ahead, we've made the difficult decision to put the Young Ninjas project on hold for the foreseeable future. While this wasn't an easy decision, we believe it's the right one as we evaluate the future of our competitive ecosystem."

This move affects players including Rūdolfs "rud" Osmanis, Dawid "tein" Śladkowski, Joe "joeski" Holmes, and Rasmus "Zitte" Johansson, whose last appearances in the Young Ninjas colors occurred during the European Pro League Series 7 in June.

Historically, the Young Ninjas program has been recognized for effectively nurturing talent, having successfully promoted players to higher tiers of competitive play. Notable alumni include Erik "ztr" Gustafsson, Linus "nilo" Bergman, Love "phzy" Smidebrant, and Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara, alongside Roman "n0te" Hamze, who is currently on a temporary promotion to the main Ninjas in Pyjamas roster.
