PARIVISION advances to XSE Pro League semi-finals by beating BIG

PARIVISION has earned a spot in the semi-finals of the XSE Pro League Guangzhou after overcoming BIG with a scoreline of 2-1 in the playoff opener.

The matchup began on Cache, the latest map in the competitive pool, where BIG secured a solid 9-3 lead on the CT side. Though BIG managed to win the map after a hard-fought battle, it took them double overtime to clinch a narrow 19-15 victory, thanks to three consecutive CT rounds.

On PARIVISION's map choice, Mirage, they turned the tide decisively, with Vyacheslav "slaxejezzz" Vinokurov dominating the performance by achieving a remarkable 2.08 rating during the 13-5 win. This set the stage for a decisive round, leveling the series at one map apiece.

In the final map on Ancient, slaxejezzz again shone as the standout player, finishing with a 1.53 rating in a tight 13-9 victory that secured PARIVISION's advancement in the tournament. Despite an underwhelming showing on Cache, slaxejezzz maintained a respectable 1.23 rating across the three maps, while teammate Ivan "zweih" Gogin led the team overall with a 1.40 rating.

Looking ahead, PARIVISION will face a formidable opponent in the semi-finals, either the undefeated BetBoom or FaZe, who have seen a resurgence after a shaky start to the group stage with the notable performance of newcomer Jason "JBOEN" Boe Nielsen.
