Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak joins Betclic from Liquid

Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak has officially joined Betclic, returning to his native Poland to fill the team's empty AWP position following his departure from Liquid.

The 22-year-old player signed with Liquid in July 2024 after a stint with Illuminar, where his aggressive AWPing style initially impressed but later led to a decline in performance, causing him to be benched in favor of Georgi "Jorko" Mitev this summer.

ultimate has already played for Betclic’s roster this summer, contributing to Poland's qualification for the Esports Nations Cup.

Betclic also recently claimed victory at the Stake Pulse tournament, defeating Jorko and Liquid in the $60,000 LAN event’s final. Following some roster adjustments, the Polish organization renewed contracts for Wojciech "Prism" Zięba and Patryk "Demho" Tomaszewski in July, securing the squad's structure ahead of ultimate's signing.

With the team looking to rebound from earlier roster challenges, ultimate will aim to elevate his game and reclaim the form that initially garnered attention from Liquid two years ago.
