Sharks rebrand to DENDELE after new partnership
Sharks' CS team will compete under the DENDELE brand following a partnership with the football team. Their first match as DENDELE will be against FURIA at BLAST Bounty.
Following a newly established partnership with DENDELE, a team involved in the Kings League, Sharks have announced that their Counter-Strike team will now compete under the DENDELE name. The Kings League was founded in 2022 by Gerard Piqué and features a seven-a-side football format.
As a result of this collaboration, not only will the CS roster don the DENDELE tag, but the organizations' social media profiles will also reflect this change. Previously, the team represented Sharks and most recently participated in the IEM Cologne Major, where they concluded Stage 1 with a 1-3 record.
Looking ahead, the team qualified for the upcoming BLAST Open Porto, which is scheduled to start at the end of August. Their inaugural match under the DENDELE banner will take place at the BLAST Bounty event, where they are set to challenge FURIA in the opening round this Friday.
The current roster of DENDELE consists of players Victor "gafolo" Andrade, João "koala" Pfeffer, Máximo "maxxkor" Cortina, Daniel "rdnzao" Monteiro, and Danilo "doc" Barros, along with coach Hélder "coachi" Sancho.
