Sharks to compete as DENDELE following team partnership
Sharks will play under the DENDELE name after a new partnership. The roster aims for success in upcoming tournaments, starting with BLAST Bounty.
Sharks have revealed a rebranding as their Counter-Strike team will now compete under the banner of DENDELE, following a partnership with the organization of the same name. DENDELE is known for its involvement in Kings League, a seven-a-side football league that was founded in 2022 by former professional footballer Gerard Piqué.
With this new partnership, Sharks' CS team will officially play under the DENDELE tag, and the organization's social media channels will also reflect this change.
Previously, the Sharks roster participated in the IEM Cologne Major, concluding Stage 1 with a 1-3 record. Despite this early exit, the team successfully qualified for the upcoming BLAST Open Porto, set to kick off at the end of August.
Their debut match as DENDELE will take place at BLAST Bounty, where they are scheduled to face off against FURIA in the opening round on Friday.
The DENDELE lineup includes: Victor "gafolo" Andrade, João "koala" Pfeffer, Máximo "maxxkor" Cortina, Daniel "rdnzao" Monteiro, and Danilo "doc" Barros. The coaching responsibilities are held by Hélder "coachi" Sancho.
