Eight teams have qualified for the EWC open qualifier playoffs, highlighted by significant upsets and strong performances.

The group stage of the EWC open qualifier has concluded its penultimate round, resulting in eight teams advancing to the playoffs while others have been eliminated from contention.

One of the notable upsets was delivered by Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar's team Prestige, which managed to eliminate the prominent Metizport after a competitive three-map series, securing a spot in the single-elimination playoff bracket scheduled for Sunday.

Meanwhile, SINNERS managed to recover from a staggering 13-0 defeat to K27 in their earlier match, bouncing back decisively with a 2-0 victory against Dark Tigre. JiJieHao also had a commendable performance, edging out the new Sangal roster in a closely contested series.

OG continued their strong showing by cruising to a straightforward win over Vael. Furthermore, Phantom's success against levelONE rounded off the conclusion of the group stage on a competitive note.

The teams that progressed to the playoffs after clinching their decider matches are now set, with more matches on the horizon. The upcoming decider games from groups 1 to 8 will feature Fluxo, SAW, and 1win, all vying for their own playoff opportunities.
