Spinx Embraces New Role as MOUZ Prepares for Grand Final Against Spirit

Lotan "Spinx" Giladi, a rifler for MOUZ, has expressed his satisfaction with the team's recent success despite facing challenges in adopting a more passive role. MOUZ secured their place in the grand final of their first tournament after a tough match against Astralis, which required them to fight through eight match points for victory.

Reflecting on the semifinal win, Spinx stated, "We won the semifinal, first tournament, first final for us." He noted that both maps played, Dust2 and Mirage, were well executed but emphasized the potential for an even quicker win, citing the number of opportunities that arose during the game. On Ancient, he acknowledged the team's struggle to find momentum but remained optimistic about their performance overall.

In discussing the close nature of their matches, Spinx highlighted the need for improvement, particularly on the CT side, where he and teammate Oldřich "PR" Nový play together. He mentioned, "We have many situations where we are doing really good and just missing the kill sometimes… It's just Counter-Strike after all."

Spinx has recently shifted to a more passive role in the team, which has led to inquiries about his individual performance in comparison to previous play styles. He affirmed the importance of his new role, saying, "Everyone wants to have fun on the server... but you need to put the team first always." He stressed that his focus is on contributing to the team's success, regardless of individual stats.

As MOUZ gears up to face Spirit in the best-of-five grand final, Spinx conveyed a strong confidence in their ability to compete against any team, turning attention to the challenges that lie ahead while noting that the experience is valuable for the newer players. "We want revenge for Spirit, they beat us many times in the past year," he said, as he and MOUZ prepare to take the stage once again in search of victory.
