FUT's xfl0ud expresses optimism about the team's potential in CS2, aiming for a top-five finish as they start their EWC campaign with a win against TYLOO.

Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç has shared his enthusiasm after joining FUT, expressing confidence in the team's capability to achieve a top-five ranking in the long run. Following a 13-10 victory over TYLOO in their opening match of the EWC, xfl0ud emphasized the promising young talent on his team and the strong support he has received from the Turkish community.

Joining from HEROIC, this is xfl0ud's first LAN event with FUT, which he describes as a dream opportunity. He stated, "I had maybe some kind of [other] offers, but from teams that were not as high. But even if I got better offers or same-level offers, I would [still] choose FUT because, besides the organization, the roster is so good, players are so young."

Reflecting on the recent match, xfl0ud noted the initial strong performance on the CT side and recognized challenges on the T side that nearly allowed TYLOO to come back into the game. The player mentioned, "I lost the pistol round... I lost a 1v1, a pretty easy kill. I couldn't shoot. But, yeah, end of the game, we managed to kill them, and it worked out."

Despite some previous struggles, including a setback against 3DMAX at the BLAST Bounty, xfl0ud feels more settled in his new environment after adapting to the team's dynamics. He remarked, "If we can be more consistent and if we can keep learning, keep grinding and keep evolving, I think we're going to be a top-five team in the long term."

xfl0ud also expressed appreciation for the young talent surrounding him, particularly mentioning players like dziuggs and dem0n. He believes they possess significant potential, contributing to the overall growth of FUT. In terms of the team’s aspirations for the current tournament, he highlighted that qualifying for the playoffs is a minimum expectation, with hopes for a deep run past the semifinals.

He concluded by maintaining optimism about the team's journey, stating, "I think this team can reach top five in the long term."
