Astralis, HEROIC, 100 Thieves confirm attendance at Pulse Beat II

The $60,000 Pulse Beat II tournament in Stockholm will feature 14 teams, with two spots available through open qualifiers.

Stake has officially confirmed 14 teams for the upcoming Pulse Beat II tournament, set to take place in Stockholm, Sweden, from September 21 to 26. The event boasts a $60,000 prize pool and promises an exciting lineup of teams.

Notable organizations such as 100 Thieves, HEROIC, Astralis, fnatic, Virtus.pro, and EYEBALLERS are among the selections made based on their rankings from the August 3 VRS update. The complete list showcases strong competitors ready to battle it out on LAN.

However, the call for talent is not over yet, as two more slots are still available through open qualifiers set for August 20 and 21. These qualifiers will follow a single-elimination format, utilizing best-of-one matches leading to a best-of-three grand final for the top teams.

Participating winners in the qualifiers will receive complimentary tournament packages worth $3,000. This package includes essential amenities such as accommodation, practice facilities, meals, and local transportation, providing teams with every necessary resource to prepare and perform.

Once the main event commences, teams will be split into four groups, with each group playing in a best-of-three GSL format. The top two teams from each group will advance to a single-elimination playoff. Additionally, the tournament will offer valuable VRS points, which are crucial for teams aiming to enhance their standing ahead of the November 2 cut-off for the PGL Major Singapore.
