BLAST Open Porto Invites 12 VRS Teams for August Event

BLAST has revealed the twelve teams that have been directly invited to participate in the upcoming Open Porto event, scheduled to kick off on August 24.

All invited teams, which represent the top VRS rankings as of the July 6 cutoff, have confirmed their attendance, making their way to Copenhagen for the essential group stage.

Among the invites are the recently crowned champions of BLAST Open Rotterdam, Vitality, who will be seeking to reaffirm their dominant form at this tournament. Notable teams such as Cologne Major victors Falcons, along with Spirit and Natus Vincere, are also viewed as strong contenders for the championship title.

In addition to the twelve directly invited squads, four teams have qualified through regional qualifiers, including Lynn Vision, M80, Sharks, and Inner Circle.

The group stage will take place at BLAST's studios in Copenhagen, culminating in the top six teams advancing to the Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota in Porto for the final stage of the tournament, occurring from September 4-6.
