Timur "FL4MUS" Marev expressed relief following his return to GamerLegion, noting a sense of stability as the team kicked off their EWC campaign. They secured a convincing 13-3 victory against Luminosity, marking their first win since FL4MUS rejoined the roster, having previously exited in the Round of 32 at BLAST Bounty.
"Everything is good. It's calm. It's calm now," FL4MUS said in an interview. He aims to improve alongside his teammates, hoping they develop into a stronger unit. The 21-year-old acknowledged his past stint with Virtus.pro as a challenging period, where he struggled for nearly a year before being benched and subsequently loaned to other teams like OG and BetBoom.
"I'm feeling more, like, relieved," he stated. "It was probably my first [time] feeling that finally I'm back on a team and I'm able to play CS." He feels more secure about his role compared to previous experiences, joking, "Maybe if I play like a bot, I will be benched, but I hope I'm not going to be playing like a bot."
On the objectives for their tournament run, FL4MUS expressed a desire to reach the playoffs and advance beyond the Round of 16. He is optimistic about the team’s potential, stating, "If we're going to work as hard as we've been working, maybe top 10, top 12, is possible."
Reflecting on his return to GamerLegion, FL4MUS noted the changes within the lineup, emphasizing that he is familiar with some teammates from past experiences. With three new players and a new coach, FL4MUS acknowledged the team's potential if they maintain their discipline and trust in each other. He sees the team setting manageable goals as they continue to develop, with individual ambitions likely in play, but no overarching targets in place currently, aside from avoiding poor performance in the tournament.
