Legacy signs Santino "try" Rigal from Imperial

Legacy has finalized the signing of Santino "try" Rigal as their new sniper, replacing saadzin.

Legacy has officially confirmed the signing of Santino "try" Rigal, who joins from Imperial to fill the void left by Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco. This move was first revealed by Dust2.com.br on June 26, and it reunites try with former teammates Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer and Bruno "latto" Rebelatto, with whom he played at 00NATION and competed at IEM Rio Major 2022.

The 21-year-old will make his debut with Legacy at the upcoming Esports World Cup, set to occur from August 12 to 23. Legacy's roster adjustments this season had seen them linked with players such as Felipe "insani" Yuji and Tomas "tomaszin" Corna, particularly after Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira requested to move to the bench following the IEM Cologne Major. Insani opted to stay with MIBR, while discussions for Tomaszin also stalled after n1ssim's return to the active squad.

try's previous engagement was a loan spell with Passion UA, where he experienced a challenging period, averaging a 1.09 rating during his time with the now-defunct team. Prior to that, he enjoyed more success at Imperial, boasting a 1.19 rating over 18 months. This return to a Portuguese-speaking environment at Legacy is expected to help him regain his form.
