MOUZ signs PR, finalizing roster changes
MOUZ has confirmed the signing of Oldřich "PR" Nový from GamerLegion, following significant roster changes.
MOUZ has officially announced the recruitment of Oldřich "PR" Nový, who returns to the organization after previously representing its academy setup. This signing marks a pivotal moment in MOUZ's ongoing roster overhaul, which started in April with the benching of Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin and Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo.
Justinas "jL" Lekavicius served as a stand-in for MOUZ during the PGL Astana and CS Asia Championships, but the team concluded the season with a disappointing 12th-14th place finish at the IEM Cologne Major, where Brollan played his last match with MOUZ.
Following the end of the season, Brollan departed for HEROIC and Jimpphat transferred to Aurora, leading to MOUZ's latest strategic moves.
PR previously competed for MOUZ NXT from July 2023 to January 2025 before joining GamerLegion. Throughout his tenure at GamerLegion, he gained substantial international experience, participating in tier-one LAN events such as the Budapest and Cologne Majors.
Despite showing promise, PR's performance this year has seen fluctuations, as he holds an average LAN rating of 1.05, a drop from 1.13 in 2025. He aims to regain his earlier form that sparked transfer discussions last year.
Jan Dominicus, MOUZ's Chief of Business Development, expressed enthusiasm for PR's return, stating, "I am very excited about PR's return. Not only does he fit the position very well, but he has also known our team for a long time - and our team knows him just as well.
"We initially came close to promoting him from our NXT team but ultimately decided to bring in additional experience. Now, 18 months later, PR has proven he can compete at the highest level, and we are looking to take the next step together. It also makes us proud that we are able to integrate another player from our NXT project, bringing us back to four of our five players - plus our coach - having come through our own ranks. A great testament to our continued commitment to player development."
PR is set to make his debut with MOUZ next week during the online phase of BLAST Bounty Season 2, followed by participation in the Esports World Cup in Paris next month.
The current MOUZ lineup includes Dorian "xertioN" Berman, Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás, Lotan "Spinx" Giladi, Adrian "xelex" Vincze, and Oldřich "PR" Nový, with Dennis "sycrone" Nielsen as coach.
