nicoodoz joins Phantom as new AWP after team shake-up

Phantom has confirmed the addition of Danish AWP player Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi to their roster. This signing comes on the heels of nicoodoz's inactivity after ECSTATIC decided to bench four of their players.

The 25-year-old will now handle the AWP role for the international squad, succeeding Łukasz "mwlky" Pachucki, who has been moved to the bench just under four months after joining Phantom.

This change marks a significant shift as Phantom aims to build a competitive lineup. The organization expressed through their social media account that this move is crucial for achieving their objectives. "Mwlky has been an important part of the team since joining us in March and has been a great teammate, always bringing positive energy. However, for competitive reasons, we have decided to make a roster change," they stated.

nicoodoz's recruitment follows that of Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk, who came from ECSTATIC in May to take the place of Wiktor "mynio" Kruk. Both players are part of the team's strategy as they prepare for the upcoming Stake Ranked Episode 3, scheduled for July 15-18 in Barcelona.

Phantom is also expected to announce another new addition soon, filling the void left by Jakub "Kunai" Gieremek, who has been benched. Currently, Phantom's roster includes: Kamil "KEi" Pietkun, Kacper "Kylar" Walukiewicz, Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk, Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi, and coach Dawid "lunAtic" Cieślak, while Jakub "Kunai" Gieremek and Łukasz "mwlky" Pachucki remain on the bench.
