BetBoom has announced its withdrawal from the BLAST Open Porto due to ongoing visa complications that have plagued the Russian team throughout the year. In their place, paiN has been invited to compete in the tournament.
These travel difficulties have disrupted BetBoom's participation in various events, including their recent Major appearance where they were unable to field Pavel "s1ren" Ogloblin. Earlier this year, the roster faced challenges when Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov and Daniil "d1Ledez" Kustov were benched as they awaited visa confirmations.
Despite these setbacks, BetBoom still has the upcoming FISSURE Playground 3 to look forward to, which will take place shortly after BLAST Open Porto concludes. The team remains in the top ten of the VRS rankings, bolstered by a strong playoff run at the Cologne Major.
