Perfecto becomes a free agent after Virtus.pro exit

Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy has departed Virtus.pro, entering free agency after a challenging year with the organization.

Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy has officially entered free agency following his release from Virtus.pro, marking the end of his turbulent year with the team.

Virtus.pro announced Perfecto's departure, expressing gratitude for his contributions since joining the roster in June 2025. The organization acknowledged his professionalism and dedication, noting his performance at the highest levels of CS2 during his time with the team.

Perfecto stepped into the lineup after Timur "FL4MUS" Marev was benched, but unfortunately, the team was already facing difficulties. His tenure was characterized by a struggle to improve the team's performance, resulting in numerous early exits from competitions. Despite taking on the mantle of in-game leader after Denis "electroNic" Sharipov was also benched, Perfecto could not turn the tide in Virtus.pro's favor.

The situation worsened in early 2026, with Virtus.pro suffering a string of losses, including defeats to RUSTEC and WW, pushing them to the 100th position in the VRS rankings. This downturn prompted the organization to make significant roster changes, benching Perfecto along with Evgenii "FL1T" Lebedev and Petr "fame" Bolyshev as they sought a fresh start with a focus on academy players.
