Vitality Dropped to Fifth in August VRS Update

In the latest August update to the VRS, Valve has revealed a surprising change in the standings of professional teams, with Vitality now sitting in fifth place. This marks the first time in two years that the team has not featured among the top four since the update in August 2024.

Despite this decline, Vitality remains in a favorable position for invitations to upcoming major events. FISSURE Playground 3, scheduled for September 7-13, will offer 15 global spots to its main event.

Logitech G Play Connect, taking place from September 17-23, will have 10 global spots to its main event, as well as invites for playoffs and group stages of its closed qualifier.

Stake Ranked Episode 4 from October 1-4 will provide six global spots for the main event and 10 for its closed qualifier.

ESL Pro League Season 24 will occur between October 3-11 and will offer 12 global spots for the main event along with 12 for its closed qualifier, plus 4 spots designated for an Asia closed qualifier.

The Thunderpick World Championship, slated for October 12-19, has 7 global spots for the main event, alongside specific spots for Europe and North America in its closed qualifiers.

IEM Beijing is set for November 2-8, offering 10 global spots to the main event along with qualifying spots for each region.
