Alliance stuns 9z, FaZe dominates 3DMAX on XSE Pro League Day 4

The fourth day of the XSE Pro League has concluded, featuring significant results and playoff implications. Three teams have secured their spots for the playoffs, while several others have been eliminated from contention.

PARIVISION set the tone early with a decisive three-map win against MIBR, locking in their playoff position with a commendable 3-1 record. Alliance delivered the surprise of the day, defeating 9z, who were quarter-finalists at IEM Cologne, in a 2-0 matchup.

The day wrapped up with a thrilling encounter as Nemesis narrowly edged out EYEBALLERS in a series that required triple overtime to determine the victor.

In contrast, the highly anticipated clash in the 1-2 pool between FaZe and 3DMAX turned into a lopsided affair. Led by Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, FaZe swept 3DMAX with a convincing 2-0 victory, surrendering merely six rounds throughout the series.

B8 managed to avoid elimination by taking down the home team Lynn Vision 2-0, while BIG sent Ninjas in Pyjamas home with a hard-fought 2-1 win.

Looking ahead to Day 5, MIBR will face off against 9z in a South American duel, resurrecting a rivalry that dates back to FiRe CONTER Season 1 in January, where MIBR triumphed over 9z on two occasions.

FaZe will aim for a third consecutive victory while seeking revenge against EYEBALLERS, a team that previously defeated them in January's BLAST Bounty event. Additionally, BIG and B8 will revisit their earlier contest from the Cologne Major Stage 2, where B8 emerged victorious in a tightly contested match.
