Astralis eliminated from StarSeries Fall European qualifiers

Astralis has been knocked out of the StarSeries Fall qualifiers after losing to HEROIC, marking a significant setback for the team. They continue to compete in BLAST Bounty.

Astralis has been ousted from contention for a spot at the $500,000 StarSeries Fall LAN following a 0-2 defeat to HEROIC in their Group B decider match. This elimination marks the first major obstacle for the newly restructured Danish roster under the leadership of coach Filip "NEO" Kubski.

Despite this setback, Astralis remains in the race for victory in the BLAST Bounty tournament after securing a comeback win against Nemesis in the Round of 32.

In other qualifiers, Henrich "sl3nd" Hevesi delivered a standout performance for INFINITE, achieving a 1.54 rating in their victory over Nemesis, the only three-map match of the day. The Gentle Mates comfortably triumphed over Walczaki, while Echo outperformed Nuclear TigeRES for the second time in the qualifier.

The top two teams from each group have advanced to the upcoming single-elimination playoffs, set to take place over the weekend. Notable in the opening round is a rematch between Ninjas in Pyjamas and HEROIC, a fixture that echoes their recent encounter in the Stake Ranked Episode 3 upper bracket final.

The playoff stage will determine which two teams will secure their places at the StarSeries Fall LAN alongside recognized names like Vitality, Natus Vincere, FURIA, and MOUZ, along with representatives from the North American and South American qualifiers.
