BC.Game claim Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 title with new roster

BC.Game has been crowned the champions of the Elisa Esports Breakout Series 1 after defeating ENCE 2-0 in the grand final. The scores were 13-11 on Mirage and 16-13 on Nuke, securing the title in the $17,163 Finnish tournament.

This tournament was significant as it debuted BC.Game's new roster featuring Emil "Magisk" Reif as the in-game leader, alongside the reunited Mongolian duo of Ayush "mzinho" Batbold and Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold. Starting from scratch, the team managed to move their rank up into the top 100 of the VRS following this performance.

BC.Game had a flawless run through the round-robin group stage, which propelled them back to a rank of #150. Key performances by Senzu and Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev helped them secure a victory against SINQU in the semi-finals, setting up a clash with ENCE, who also arrived at the final undefeated after their own semi-final win over HAVU.

In the finals, ENCE initially took an early lead on Mirage. However, as BC.Game’s offense struggled to find success, only Senzu and mzinho were able to make an impact during the early game. ENCE held a notable 11-6 lead, but the Mongolian duo turned the tide with a resilient defense, ultimately finishing the map in their favor.

Nuke shifted the momentum even further for BC.Game. After trailing initially, they managed to gain a 7-5 lead at halftime. Despite ENCE's attempt to rally back and force overtime, BC.Game clinched two critical clutches in the extended rounds, including a brilliant 1v3 performance by s1mple and a game-winning 1v2 from Denis "electroNic" Sharipov.

Senzu ended the event with the highest player rating, averaging 1.48 over the seven maps played. Following their victory, BC.Game improved its VRS position, entering the top 100 at #84. The team is now focused on the Esports World Cup Open Qualifier, taking place from August 7-9 in Paris, where they will compete among up to 128 teams, including notable organizations such as Liquid, BIG, HEROIC, and 100 Thieves, for four spots at the $2,000,000 main event.
