HEROIC appoints doto as new head coach following TOBIZ exit
HEROICHEROIC has announced Joonas "doto" Forss as their new head coach after parting ways with TOBIZ and analyst R0nic.
HEROIC has officially named Joonas "doto" Forss as their new head coach, replacing Tobias "TOBIZ" Theo, who has ended his tenure with the organization. Forss previously coached HEROIC's academy team before it was disbanded and has a background with teams such as HAVU and ENCE before transitioning to coaching with ENCE Prospects.
TOBIZ joined HEROIC in June 2025 as a successor to Eetu "sAw" Saha, who left for G2. This role marked TOBIZ's first position at the top level, having previously worked with MOUZ NXT. During his time with HEROIC, the team achieved notable success, including a victory at DraculaN Season 5 and runner-up at the CCT Global Finals, as well as qualification for the IEM Cologne Major.
In a statement on X, TOBIZ expressed his thoughts on his departure: "My one-year journey has come to an end as HEROIC informed me yesterday that they want to go in a new direction. Taking some valuable lessons with me and looking forward to my next adventure."
In addition to this coaching change, HEROIC is reportedly pursuing Antonio "MartinezSa" Martinez from Gentle Mates to replace Simon "yxngstxr" Boije, who has stepped in as the team's temporary AWPer following Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay's removal due to visa complications. Further rumors suggest that Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç may be moving to FUT, with uncertainty surrounding Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea's future in the team.
Currently, HEROIC's roster features: Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç, Linus "nilo" Bergman, Tim "susp" Ångström, Christoffer "Chr1zN" Storgaard, Simon "yxngstxr" Boije, Joonas "doto" Forss (coach), Alimzhan "Alkaren" Bitimbay (benched).
