Liquid Bensultimate Ahead of New Season
LiquidRoland "ultimate" Tomkowiak has been moved to the bench by Liquid, marking the end of his two-year tenure with the team.
Liquid has announced the benching of Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak, signaling a shift in their roster ahead of the upcoming season. After joining the organization in July 2024, ultimate spent two years with Liquid, playing a total of 331 maps and achieving an overall rating of 1.02.
During his time with Liquid, the team struggled to find consistent success. ultimate was unable to secure any championships, with third-place finishes at the CS Asia Championships 2025 and Birch Cup 2025 representing his best performances. He also participated in four Major tournaments, where his pinnacle achievement was reaching the quarter-finals at the PW Major in Shanghai. This was followed by exits in Stage 3 at Austin and Budapest, with a disappointing Stage 1 exit at IEM Cologne.
As Liquid prepares for the forthcoming season, their current roster now includes Keith "NAF" Markovic, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski, Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, and coach Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea, with ultimate presently on the bench. The organization is now looking to redefine its lineup with a fresh AWPer to enhance their competitive edge in the upcoming season.
