LVG, M80, Sharks secure spots at BLAST Open Porto

Three teams, Lynn Vision, M80, and Sharks, have earned their places at the upcoming BLAST Open Porto by triumphing in their respective regional qualifiers for BLAST Rising.

These teams will join Inner Circle, who secured their spot by winning the European qualifiers. A total of 12 other top-ranking teams from the VRS circuit will also participate in the tournament, which boasts a significant prize pool of $1.1 million. This event is one of the few major competitions before the invite date for the Singapore Major, set for November 2.

Among the notable teams that were unable to qualify are the grand finalists TYLOO and paiN. M80 stands out as the only team considered a pre-event favorite to clinch the championship title.

In their regional qualifiers, Sharks' João "koala" Pfeffer, recognized as a top-15 Prospect, delivered an impressive performance with a 1.23 rating. Lizhi "Starry" Ye achieved an exceptional 1.43 rating, while Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich recorded a 1.38 rating, highlighting their strong performances in the qualifiers.
